We play approximately two Saturdays every month; we used to play two league-sanctioned tournaments per night (and sometimes even a third tournament). However, with the growth of our league each tournament is taking longer than it used to. Therefore, it is at the host’s sole discretion as to whether or not there will be a second or third league-sanctioned tournament. Often, the host will opt for a side-game after a certain number of players have busted out of the first tournament-but that game isn’t always necessarily league-sanctioned.
Players accrue points based on the number of poker players for each game. As an example, if there are 10 players in the early game, the winner will get 10 points, second place nine, third place eight, and the first one out would receive one point. If there were only 5 players in the second game, the winner would get five points, second place would get 4 points, and so on…

At the end of the season, we hold a “Main Event” where the top 9 points-earners are invited to participate in a Final-Table tournament. In addition, one other league member will be selected at random to participate as the “Wild-Card” entrant.
All league members are invited to our “Main Event,” but only the 10 players chosen to participate may play in the Final-Table. Other league members and their guests are encouraged to play a separate game or tournament on the side!
